Romantic things you can do to melt your loved one's heart.
Everyone can be romantic, but not everybody knows how. Here are some things that will let him or her know you care:
When they're going away (business trip, etc.), collect
pictures, poems, theater tickets you saved from your first date, etc. Create a collage of words that says something about the two of you such as the title of your favorite songs, or words that describes something only the two of you would understand. Include reasons why you love him and why he'll be missed. Tell him why he's special. Spray the pages with your perfume and tape rose petals to them.
And when they return, create a trail of rose petals and candles from the entrance to the table or the bedroom.
Try calling her when she least expects it and say, "I've been thinking about you and I just wanted to hear your voice."
Email her how much you love or miss her.
Send flowers , of course.
Send her one of those "just thinking about you" cards.
Find some romantic poetry
and send her just a few lines of a poem that expresses how you feel about her.
Show her you'd do anything for her by taking her dancing even when you hate going dancing. Or take some dance lessons and surprise her.
Show them how much they mean to you. One woman gave her boyfriend a heart shaped box on the anniversary of their first date. Inside the heart-shaped box, she had cut out a heart for every single day she had known him. On each heart she wrote something that she loves about him.
Everyone has a romantic side. You just need to figure out what yours is. Some people just don't know how to express their feelings other than in words. Words are nice of course but they can get old if their used too often.
Here are some other ideas you can use to express your feelings:
- If you have a special place where you like to go to be alone, bring her there and make her feel like she's the only one who knows about it.
- Take her to a playground at sunset and push her on the swings.
- Go to a baseball or football field after dark and stop the car. Turn on a slow song and ask her to dance.
Finally, just be yourself - you'll think of something. And when you do, she'll look past the material things, the looks and all that stuff and fall in love with the real you.
